Tucker Capparell

Tucker Capparell was born and raised in the anthracite coal-mining region of Northeast Pennsylvania. He moved to Philadelphia in 1986 to study at The University of the Arts and received a BFA in painting in 1990. He then moved to New York City where he worked at the International Center of Photography before working at Pace Gallery’s 57th Street location for twenty years. In 2015 he left New York City to marry his high school crush. Tucker and his wife Molly live near Pottstown, Pennsylvania with their dog Toby.
