Gemma Syme
Gemma is a multidisciplinary artist based in Ōtautahi, whose diverse work uses visual charm and wit to create conversations around expanding intersectional feminist discourse. She has been an exhibiting artist since 2007 and completed her Masters in Fine Arts at Massey University, Te Whanganui a Tara in 2009. Her work has been shown nationally at Christchurch City Gallery, Wellington City Gallery, Enjoy Gallery, The Physics Room, Adam Art Gallery, and The New Zealand Film Archive. Her work has also been shown internationally in Berlin, San Francisco, and Japan.
