Veruš Villangó is a Slovenia-based Hungarian artist. Her dreamlike illustrations and whimsical characters, always drawn with a thin black marker on white paper, explore the state of mind in everyday life through relationships, loneliness and fantasies.
Since 2020, she has been a part of multiple group exhibitions, including Donna in Rosa and Vseobsegajoča razstava druščine ob morju IV, and had solo shows at the Lighthouse of Piran, Festival Obzidje and in the City Library of Piran.
Her work was first published in the book, ‘Finnegan Slept Here // Piran Scratches’ by corona\samizdat in 2022, and also appears in the 2023 winter issue of The Northwest Review.
